DIY Pizza Oven Kit FAQ's

How long does it take to build a DIY pizza oven kit?

Most of our outdoor pizza oven kits can be assembled in 1-2 days. The modular design makes assembly straightforward, though we recommend setting aside a weekend for a stress-free build. Some compact models can even be completed in just a few hours!

What base do I need for my DIY pizza oven?

Your pizza oven needs a stable, level, and heat-resistant base. We recommend a reinforced concrete base at least 4 inches thick. For our larger models, the base should be at least 6 inches thick. The base must be completely cured before oven installation.

Can you make bread in a DIY pizza oven?

Yes! Pizza ovens are perfect for artisan bread baking. The retained heat creates the perfect environment for crusty bread, focaccia, and flatbreads. Just let the temperature drop to around 450-500°F for bread baking.

How much does it cost to build a DIY pizza oven?

Our DIY pizza oven kits range from around $2,000 for compact models to $8,000 for large family-sized units.

Building from scratch with individual materials might save money but requires more expertise and time.
